I started my doula journey with the birth of my sister’s first child where I was able to support and encourage her throughout her labor and I was immediately hooked! I am certified through Birth and Beyond KC and provide prenatal, birth, and postpartum care.
I chose to become a doula because I believe every woman deserves to be fully supported, seen, heard, and cared for in mind, body, and spirit. Every journey into motherhood is different, and my role is to offer guidance and presence you can trust.
Outside of work as a doula and nurse I love to play pickle ball, board games, and with my two kitties.
I am not only passionate about traveling, but learning about other cultures as well. I have had the privilege of traveling to Uganda and Argentina, and am hoping to add more countries to that list in the future.
Some of my long term goals include becoming a midwife, a flight nurse, and a certified forensic nurse. Being a doula is one of my steps to one day attending midwifery school.
I have had the privilege of attending several births with my doula mentor. I have done home and hospital births of both low and high intervention. I am never here to judge or push you to make decisions, but rather educate, encourage, and empower you to make the best decisions for you and your family.
I believe birth is an incredible miracle created by God and I would be so honored to be allowed to participate in that miracle with you.
