As an Eco Maternity Consultant (IPHI 2022), Certified Postpartum Doula (DONA 2023), and mama bear to three, I am intuitively drawn to care for and nurture mothers in postpartum and beyond.
I love supporting families and their homes for the fourth trimester. Whether you need help optimizing your home in preparation for a growing family, or building your postpartum care plan to include nourishment, feeding, sleep, and newborn care, I'd love to help.
My Journey Into Postpartum Work
For the last two years I have had the honor of serving mothers at a women’s home in Lawrence, KS that are freshly postpartum and with little to no support.
Mothers are superheroes! To hold space for their primal strength and intuitiveness is both empowering and humbling. It's incredibly fulfilling to support and nurture their own unique matrescence (transformations of motherhood) journey.
Nesting Doula
I'm also passionate about supporting mothers in preparing their home for a newborn without the overwhelm. This desire was born out of my own transition into motherhood.
In 2022, I completed an Eco-Maternity course from the International Parenting Health Institute. This certification provided extensive knowledge of the environmental toxins common in pregnancy and newborn products.
In my Eco Nesting work, I aim to give relief to the mental load of mothers while celebrating their progress over perfection as it relates to the health of their home environment.
Life Beyond Work
I currently reside in Lawrence, KS. As a pilot wife, mama bear to three littles, and believer, I feel most alive BEing in nature, listening and dancing to music, geeking out over biophilic design, connecting deeply with others, and being witness to the wonder, awe, and curiosity of little humans.
As a mother and professional doula, I respect the vulnerability and intimacy of the fourth trimester and deeply honor the opportunity to be a part of it.
