Hi! My name is Micaela. I’m a Catholic mom to two little girls, a wife, and a certified doula through DNT Network and locally trained by Birth and Beyond KC. I’m also a certified medical interpreter and currently working toward becoming a lactation counselor.
I truly believe God has called me to nurture and support women during these tender, transformative moments. I strive to help every family feel heard, informed, and empowered in their birth experience.
My Journey Into Birth Work
My passion for physiological birth and breastfeeding began after the birth of my first daughter via emergency C-section. After experiencing a redemptive VBAC with my second, I felt called to step into birth work and support other women on their journeys. My goal is to provide the support, education, and reassurance I wish I had during my first pregnancy and birth.
Life Beyond Birth Work
Outside of being a doula, I’m a wife to Nick and a mom to two daughters. I love spending time outdoors, trying new foods, and building meaningful connections and community with women in the same stage of life.
